↳ WordPress website rental

Website rental with a buyout option. From €25/mo.

from €25 / monthly · including hosting, maintenance, backups

The monthly rental includes complete maintenance, backups, security updates, and hosting. You know the buyout price in advance, so you can be sure you can take the website into ownership at any time. The entry fee counts toward the buyout; the monthly rent covers ongoing operation.

↳ Why rent

A website without a big upfront investment.

Three reasons to rent a website. You know the scope of the service, the monthly price, and the terms of any buyout in advance.

A modern website with a lower entry cost

At the start you pay a one-time entry fee. After that you pay a monthly rent based on the size and complexity of the website.

Content in the familiar WordPress

The website runs on the world's most widespread CMS. You manage the content yourself in a clear admin interface, for which there are thousands of tutorials. I take care of the technology, extensions, and updates.

Leave the tech to me

Updates, backups, monitoring, certificates, security - I handle it all. You just focus on the content.

↳ How it works

Three steps and your website is live.

After the brief is confirmed, materials are delivered, and the entry fee is paid, the website is usually ready in 7 to 14 days.

01

Contact me

Briefly describe your idea - what the website should do, how it should look, what materials you have.

02

We start working together

If we reach an agreement, you pay the one-time entry fee (it counts toward any later buyout) and I start building. I send you previews along the way and we fine-tune the details.

03

Long-term partnership

Once approved, I release the website into the world and hand over access for managing the content. From me you get ongoing support and maintenance.

A worked example

Say you want a small business website of 4-6 pages. We talk about what your company does, you provide logos, images, and copy. We fix the buyout price at, say, €835 and the monthly rent at €25. You pay a one-time entry fee of €210 and the build begins. After launch, the monthly rent runs, covering technical management, updates, backups, and security. If you later decide to buy out the website, you pay the remaining €625. The monthly rent is not counted toward the buyout price. This corresponds to the Small business website package.

What you usually ask me.

Answers to the most common questions about website rental. If you don't find yours, write to me →

01What do I need to get started?
At least a rough idea of the website and its content - logos, images, texts. Plus the domain the site will run on. You don't have to pay for hosting; it's part of the rental. If you don't have a domain yet, I'll happily help you pick one and arrange the purchase.
02How does the rental process work?
We agree on the brief, I send you previews along the way and we fine-tune the details. I deploy the site to your domain, and from launch onward I only handle maintenance, backups, and updates on a monthly basis.
03How long does it take to deploy the website?
Typically 7–14 days from the final agreement, delivery of materials, and payment of the entry fee.
04Will you create my site from my own design?
For rentals I have ready-made processes and components so I can put your website together quickly - but it's not mindless template copying. If you have your own design, send it to me and we'll agree on how much of it can be incorporated into the rental.
05How do website management and maintenance work?
I regularly make backups, update WordPress, plugins, and the theme, and monitor the security and performance of the server. When something needs attention, I'll let you know.
06Can I edit the website myself?
Yes. At launch I'll explain everything you need so you can manage the content yourself. If you're not sure about something, write to me - I'm happy to help.
07Will I get administrator access?
For control and security reasons I don't hand out administrator access - but you won't be limited in managing content in any way. If you want to install an extension, write to me and I'll do the installation for free. Any further configuration is handled at a discounted hourly rate of €40 (normally €50).
08What if I want to expand the website's features?
Just tell me what you need. If an existing WordPress plugin without modifications is enough, I'll do the installation for free. For code changes we'll agree individually based on the amount of work.
09What are the payment terms?
Payment is made monthly or annually as agreed, by invoice with 14-day payment terms. The first invoice also includes the one-time entry fee.
10Can I cancel the rental at any time?
Yes. You can buy out the website at a price set in advance, or cancel the rental. The entry fee counts toward the buyout price. The monthly rent covers ongoing operation and is not deducted from the buyout price. If you end the rental without a buyout, the website is suspended.
11Do you also provide email services?
Yes. If you need professional email on your own domain, I'll arrange the setup and operation on partner hosting - the price depends on the number of mailboxes.
12How is this different from Wix or Webnode?
With services like Wix or Webnode, the website usually stays inside their platform. With me it runs on WordPress and you know the buyout price in advance. So you're not locked into the rental permanently; on buyout you get both the code and the content of the website.
